WAKE ANYTIME

Why it matters

Cleaner experience, less wasted processing.

The plugin stays focused: detect inactivity, enter standby with an elegant transition, and wake instantly on first interaction. No bloat, no tracking, no compromise to UX.

/01

CPU-aware idle mode

Reduce pointless visual activity while a tab is left inactive. Background videos pause, animations stop, work stops.

/02
SCROLLTAP

Instant wake-up

Mouse, touch, key press or scroll restores the full page immediately. Zero perceived delay, zero friction.

/03

SEO + cache friendly

Built to avoid bot blocking and to play well with common cache setups. Crawlers see your page, your readers see standby.

Workflow

A 3-step standby logic.

From the first millisecond of inactivity to the first millisecond of attention. Predictable, lightweight, and tuned for production.

/ STEP 01

Detect inactivity

The script listens for user input events: pointer, key, scroll and focus, continuously and at near-zero cost.

/ STEP 02

Fade into standby

After your timeout, the page transitions into a dark, low-energy layer. Branding, message and timing are yours.

/ STEP 03

Wake instantly

The first movement, key press or scroll brings everything back. No reload, no flash, no jitter.

FAQ

Quick answers before you install.

/01Is this heavy for the frontend?

No. The script is intentionally lightweight and only reacts to inactivity plus a few wake-up events.

/02Can I test standby manually in admin?

Yes. The admin bar trigger can open the standby preview instantly without waiting for the timeout.

/03What does PRO unlock?

Paid plans unlock custom timeout, custom text, icon and color controls, branding removal and analytics.

The public plans are PRO 16-50 at 29.90 EUR / year and PRO 51+ at 49.90 EUR / year, both for one domain.

Enterprise, agency and lifetime arrangements can be assigned manually when a standard package is not the right fit.

/04How is the estimated saving calculated?

The impact meter uses a fixed estimation model, not a real-time hardware measurement, so the values shown are indicative reference figures.

The calculation is based on two conservative averages: an estimated 2 W saved while standby is active, and a 230 gCO2/kWh average grid emission factor.

Energy saved is estimated by multiplying total standby time by the assumed saved power, then converting the result into Wh and kWh. The estimated CO2 avoided is derived from that energy value using the same emission factor.

In short, the meter is designed to provide a simple, prudent and comparable estimate rather than a direct physical measurement.
